Spanish heavy metal band Ktulu was formed in the mid-’80s, recording their first album Involución in 1991, followed by 1994′s Orden Genético. In addition, the rock act contributed its song “Apocalipsis 250″ to Alex de la Iglesia’s movie El Día de la Bestia. The group returned with 1997′s Confrontación and 1998′s El Latido del Miedo. After lineup changes, Carlos Cordoba produced Ktulu’s self-titled album in 1999

What is your favourite Marley song?
I love the song Kaya because , who has not been well meaning ever?. Very good better.

What do you think about Bob Marley as a musican, as a songwriter?
I think that Bob Marley was a very good musician. A man very creative in music, and very socially committed.
My highest admiration in the musical, is the fluidity of his compositions and some very dense lyrics, which convey a message

Time magazine votet Exodus as album of the 20th century:what do you think about that?
In this I am not quite agree, simply because of the large number of records released and the number of different styles that exist around the world. I believe that each person have diferent opinion. The album Exodus, it is certainly a great record. I personally believe that Kaya and Exodus are the two best albums by Bob Marley, always in my opinion.

Did reggae or Marley’s music ever influence your songs?
The truth is that KTULU is very musically distanced than Bob Marley, and we have influences very different, but sometimes y play alone in local and play some Marley´s songs like Africa United or Bufalo Soldier and another different styles. Love play.

Can you tell us something about your band?
KTULU is a group of Spain with a very strong style. We started to let us know in the year 96 to collaborate with one of our
songs of our second work, on the soundtrack of the movie El Dia de la Bestia (The Day of the Beast), directed by Alex de la Iglésia. In all this time we have done many tours arround Spain. Today.
