hi freinds. I am bored, so i decided to start a topic on usless, unknown, but sometimes interesting facts about bob. Hopefully people will post more and more after me, and we can make this into a whole "useless facts" collection Post facts such as the following:

Bob had a pet donkey named nimble who he was very good to, he even fed him vitamins! 8)

Bob always walked up stairs two steps at a time

Even though bob lived on an island surrounded with water, bob said one of the few things he feared was swimming, because he was not to good at it.

It is said that "children" appears in bob's lyrics more than any other word

Bob was always known as a "night owl" meaning he could stay up for hours without sleep. He would even sometimes go 24 hours before he slept.

Bob was known as a "screwface", just like his father, meaning he would often times had a mean, or displeased disposition (pretty much the opposite of what he was)

please post more like the ones above!

I would think that JAH shows up in more lyrics than any other word, but???
I've never counted and I'll probably never will. :)

I have one about Peter:

I was thinking about it a few weeks ago,

If i'm correct Peter died on the 11th of September 1987 (9/11).

14 years later on 11/9/2001 the Twin towers were attacked and many innocent people were killed.

Like Peter sang: "The Day the Dollar Died"

Kinda ironic........

You talk and I think you say 11/09/01 is important fact

Is true. More inocent people (4000) died

All months USA kill more than 4000 men and women around the world

If you cry only for inocent people of the Twins Towers, I must to say you:

Until the philosophy which hold....

ofcourse 9/11 is an important date.

ofcourse the american government killed many people in asai and africa all over the world, but the point is, those 400 people did not killed those people all over the world.

It is not justified that if thousands of people for instance in the middle east are killed, they strike back by killing innocent people in the US.

If we go on like that, not even a single human being will be left on this earth. Look what Bush did.... Afghanistan, Iraq...

To me it sounds Bin Laden gave Bush a reason to get oil!

It's a sick world out there...

Pick George Bush junior and senior to kill and not innocent people.

Bob wasn't a vegetarian.

..

"Gilly would also purchase some snapper, kingfish, goatfish and doctor fish. For juices, Bob would choose carrots, soursop (a tropical fruit known for its delicious white pulp) and Irish moss, a type of seaweed used for making a sweet gelatinous drink believed to encourage the libido. Everything would be stuffed into the car and taken back to Hope Road where Gilly would prepare for a communal "ninyam" (meal)."

Bob ate meat (Cindy Breakspeare, the mother of Bob's youngest son Damian, has said in several interviews that Bob occasionally ate liver for strength) and many different kinds of fish, but he refrained from eating pork, which is specifically condemned by Rastas... "

Right. Sorry, I meant vegetarian in the sense, he didnt eat meat (other than fish). Bob loved his fish. Cant forget about his Fishhead soup stories in Sweden. There is also a pic of Bob in Delaware at the Booker house with turkey for Thanksgiving. Not sure if he ate it though.

Never knew the liver story, but I still wouldnt consider it "meat", even if from same animal.

I would love to know more about things Gilly prepared, as he would have known Bobs diet most.

As far as I know, he loved fish, but didnt eat other meat (pork, beef, chicken). I dont know where the line is for Rasta diet concerining fish, except that shellfish are forbidden. Perhaps Bob didnt eat lobster.

Would love to hear more, if anyone knows. Now that I think about it, I think a Rasta Ital diet doesnt even include fish at all. Confused

The diet for Rastas is all over the map. Same with alcohol-Bob would drink champagne and red Stripe from time to time. Bob did not eat lobster or any shellfish. Lee Jafee tells of how he and Bob would go hang out with 'Countryman' and he would cook up Lobster but Bob would have none of it.

The Twelve Tribes say it is much more important what comes out of your mouth than what goes in it and I have to agree.
