Australian Tour

I noticed in my Australian Tour Program that they have listed a date of April 28 for a second Sydney show and no show on May 1 back in Melbourne. As far as I know no May 1 Melbourne show has ever surfaced or a 28/4/78 show. Does anybody has clarification and/or know where the dates that we all have originated from. The normal dates that we have had from the old Marley sites etc.. go:

25/4-Melbourne
26/4--Melbourne
27/4--Sydney
1/5- Melbourne

Jeremy Collingwood's book only list one show for Melbourne and one for Syndey


Neither all the websites or Collingwood's dates match the tour program. I'll search some of my Australian newspaper/magazine files. Maybe something there?

just to add to the confusion:

I have a rather old marley biography (by mailka lee whitney & dermott hussey) and they only list:

April 25 Melbourne
April 27 Sydney

however, I don't think they very very accurate in their research (and I don't think Collingwood was, either)

I usually go along with what James Wilson compiled and that is what you stated in your thread

however, it does not seem to make a lot of sense to travel back and forth between Melbourne and Sydney,,,
