ruffian Guest Posts: n/a Time Spent Online: N/A	Answered: Bob & Peter Why didn't that songwriting parnership not go on to great things like Lennon/McCartney & Jagger/Richards ? After all the reggae classic " Get Up Stand Up" was a true diamond. Maybe Marley & Tosh never really got on, after all.

To be honest, I don't think Tosh and Marley really were a partnership anyway.

One may have added an idea to the others songs, but basically Bob would do his thing and Peter work on his, whereas Lennon/McCartney often collaborated as well as working individually (many songs credited as Lennon/McCartney are actually just the work of one of the writers.)
