This could be my top ten. Somebody could tell me that not all the artist are “roots”, but this is my very personal list of favourite reggae artists. And, my dear dinosaurs friends , you can also find some artists from the new century.

So:
- the one and the only: Bob Marley (and the Wailers)
- then: (the history of reggae): Black Uhuru, Jacob Miller, Steele Pulse, Peter Tosh
- then: (the alternatives): Gentleman, Stephen Marley, Alborosie, Julian Marley, Africa Unite
