Burning Spear & The Burning Band
Recher Theatre
Towson, MD USA
2003-OCT-10
I recorded this myself with my trusty old MD recorder,(RIP). The show was great
but had a moderate level of crowd noise, but nothing to detract too much from
the performance. I had a group of friends around me that weeded out most of the
loud obnoxious drunks including the person in the far background with the police
whistle. (don't panic, he can barely be heard)
All and all this is an above average recording of the show that has not been
circulated much. I've shared it with a few friends, so it may have made its
way around to some East Coast Reggae fans already, but......
This is an ungrade to my previous version, so it is worth downloading again
if you have it already. I normalized the recording and increased the volume a
few dB. I haven't heard this recording for some time before a brought it back out
of the vaults, and I am quite pleased how it turned out.
I placed a few samples in the comment section so you can make up your own mind.
Sample two gives an example of the police whistle and crowd noise at its worse.
As I mentioned earlier, these are easily overlooked, but if you are looking for a
soundboard recording, look somewhere else, like here....
Max's on Broadway SBD 1988, its still pretty well seeded.

This recording can fit on an 80min disc with the use of editing tools
by deleting track 1 and trimming the crowd noise from the end of track 14.
I prefer to keep it the way I've offered it.
*********Please DO NOT trade or seed it in a trimmed format.*****************
*********Please don't trade in mp3/lossy format either. Keep it pure.********
