Award Unanswered: rare live list

Hey guys!

I have seen a thread on here before (on the olf forum) where a list was made with all of the songs that bob performed very rarely, and dates and places of where he peformed them. I searched, and cannot find that old thread.

can someone give me a link to it, or make a new list please?

thanks

Blackman Redemption
Rastaman live up
So Much Trouble in the World
Survival

two circulating live versions:

Rude Boy Ska
400 Years
Who the Cap fits
Waiting in vain
So long Rastafari

three circulating live versions:

Re: rare live list

"Pimper's Paradise" is also said to have been played during one of the Glasgow 1980 shows...

about Crystal Palace 1980, I know of a crappy audience recording circulating in certain circles... same with a complete recording from the first Zimbabwe show... recently I heard rumours about soundboard recordings from the first MSG 1980 show and the Roxy 1978 show... these are only rumours though...

what's the source for Dublin...? do you know anything about it, jamrock?

Re: rare live list

Some years ago I read an interesting article with all shows recorded by Island/Tuff Gong.
Many shows were taped until 1978 (also until 1980 I think, listen to the INTERVIEW cd, the songs are from 1980 concerts) says the article. There are live at Leeds, november 1973 (this show was released on BURNIN' DELUXE), 12songs from the Lyceum in London, july 1975, and Roxy '76 (officailly released); there are also four shows recorded at Hammersmith Odeon in june 1976 (Dennis Thompson one time says that he have terrific mixes from those dates!), there is Manchester, june '76, all Rainbow shows from june '77, two shows at Music Hall in Boston '78, and there are a couple of shows in Paris '78(some songs were used for BABYLON BY BUS). But I think many other concerts were recorded. About Dublin 1980 there are only rumors, some say it exist. Time will tell..

I heard this aswell. someone named tammy, who i am pretty sure is a member of this board said that she was at the pittsburgh concert and that he did sing charnces are a cappella. however on the marley and tosh forums.org someone had a good rebuttle to this theory (I think it was swiss) saying that music is played while people were leaving .

by the way thank you for the info guys!
