Article on the 30th anniversary of OLPC

The Jamaica Observer had an interesting article on the 30th anniversary of the One Love Peace Concert. I thought this board would have at least one thread already on this historic anniversary. The link is below. The article was written by one of Jamaica's premier advertising / marketing executives who also has a love for photography. The article includes rare pics from the concert.

I always wondered if Bob improvised (asking for manley and seaga on stage) or if it was arranged in advance with JLP and PNP

Catch A Fire book says that Bob talked with some ppl from both parts (JLP and PNP) and told them he would invite the candidates to the stage.

But each one didn't know the other would come up to the stage, they both thought they would go alone.

I really like the Edmonton 73, and the National Arena 74 videos.

On the 73 one, I love how the band improvise in "Get Up Stand Up" when there is that problem with the sound.

What a shame that both concerts are so short!
