Re: best live record?
in my opinion the best album Live! is "Exodus-Deluxe Edition" with only the five songs dated june 4th, 1977 in Rainbow Theatre (UK) .. his power-effect is a indiscutible fact but it's only in my opinion! ... the song "Exodus" is astonishing!! you provide with a good stereo and it's a piece of cake...

live 1975 is pure roots reggae, I think it's the first live reggae album ever
BBB has more rock sound with those Junior guitar solos
Rainbow is one of my favourite, I love "the heathen" so much
Talkin blues 73 is a good album but I don't like the wah wah guitar, I do prefer the sound of Junior and Al
Roxy, as I told, is too low for me, a little monotonous

Re: best live record?
Leeds 73 with 2 Legends Tosh and Marley in top form and perfect. Just the basic band. Drums, Bass, Bob on full rhythm guitar, just one keyboard, Tosh doing his guitar thing and him and Bob interacting with their lyrics like nobody else can.

Re: best live record?
I love 1973 but 1977 is crazy Bob is going nuts with the exodus the freedom thing.. it is very very cool. But its not the whole show so it is a big let down.....would love to hear a complete rainbow show unedited from start to finsh!!!!

Re: best live record?
You know I have tried so many times. I also do not believe they are getting the right advice when it comes to some matters. There are many things that go in to it. More then anyone would really know unless you have worked with them. I do know that they try a lot more then people think but that really doesn't show when it comes to new things being let out. There is a lot of vultures around. Most people get upset with the "Family" but I believe and hope some new stuff will finally come out sooner then later

Re: best live record?
Live! got great versions of kinky reggae, them belly full & burnin & lootin, but I voted babylon by bus, especially Concrete Jungle is great
