Jeff it was in Ghana not Ethiopia and to this day we really don't know what (if anything) was lost in the fire.

Philman, Roger was upset because it took a long before he heard from Bunny that he was not going forward with the book. Bunny came to Roger's house, as he had been doing, on October 8, 2000. Did more interviews and then Roger never heard from him and could not get a hold of him. They had a book planned. It was not until much later that Bunny told him he can't do the book because he had accepted money from Rita to not do it. That's why Roger was upset with Bunny. Bunny knew for months that the book was no more, yet Roger was still working hours and hours on it. It took him so long to finally tell Roger b/c he knew all of the work Roger and Leroy were putting into HIS biography and I'm sure he felt bad. But the problem was it took him sooooo long to tell them the book was never going to be. And they had been promoting it in liner notes, interviews, book bio's etc.. That's why he was upset.

I was at dinner the other night with this guy his name is Simeon the 1st one of the founding members of the 12 tribes. He was number 4 on the list of 12 tribes. We where talking and he said to me that Bob was murdered. This time it was not just something someone said it came straight from Robert Marley's mouth. The source is the most famous and unreleased Bob Marley tape ever to be made. The Bob Marley Final tape he left for his 12 tribes members. The "Revelation of Joseph" tape is a tape that Bob recorded in NYC while undergoing treatment for cancer. It was the same type of tape that we call the Red X Peter Tosh tapes. In the tape Bob says he was in the process of being murder. Now, what you can take from that? I do not know. What I do know is that the tape is real. I have heard the story from diffrent sources and more then 2 people claim the same exact story who do not even know each other. Gad's wife has the tape now. I thought I would hope this starts the big search and find of this historic tape!!!!

It seems almost everytime i learn something new about Bob, its through rasjack, marco, joe, etc.

As great was Bob, so poor was his environment
I mean the rasta creed: rural, archaic, superstitious, antiscientific
Good for smoking ganja under a plum tree, inappropriate for analyze a particular situation
Bob was not clear-headed, lucid about his health
Remember the interview with Cindy: "do you want me to have cancer???"
In my opinion Bob didn't want to admit to have cancer because it was at odds with his creed, with his Jah, "Jah love and protect us"
So someone was killing him, not Jah, not the fate: it was more easy and convenient to accept
During his last year Bob was very fragile, influenced by other people.

I am not by any means saying Bob was murder. I just want to make light of the tape thats all. It is 90 min tape and Bob talks about everything and everyone in his life until that date and what happened through his eyes. That to me, as a trained Historian is a very important peice of the Bob puzzle.

I agree with what Marco said a few post down. Also there are plenty of Bob Marley fans that well aren't like the rest of us here

and don't look into the religious aspect of it all. To basically rewrite what Marco said, its the whole Rasta don't die point of view. The same reason that he never got his toe fixed in the first place. Very faithful to his religion and what he believed in. Same thing for Bunny I say that he believe the only way Bob could have went at the time that he did was if he was murdered. After all they tried once before as there was probably countless other times that no one counted the attempts that were made or threats that were received.
