Does anyone have any photos of the Crystal Palace Bowl Gig, London 1980, I was right at the front, big afro, magic time! I was 18 and have never forgotten it! Be fab to see any photos!
That's crazy how they're just chillin in the water like that! Is that how that placed was designed? For some audience members to watch from standing water?

We don't have the record of this concert (may be someone has it) so I don't know but.... I'm pretty sure that Bob said something about the people in the water!

Just want to say much love and ta for sharing pictures of that amazing day. I've found me in some of the images at the front in the water, ended up on the muddy bank in front of the stage by the beautiful iThrees!
I was only 18 (50 now) but that day will always be there, so honoured! My Dad dropped me and mates off in the morning and picked up three soaking wet & very stoned guys afterwards, he didn't bother as long as we'd had fun he said! (bless him!)! It was just amazing and perfect after we forgot bout Joe Jackson being racist (what a twat, maybe he was trying to shock?? Small time hey!) Been a vegetarian ever since I and have been to many fab Roots gigs over the years! My fav who I've seen three time is the master of Love, Gregory Isaacs. Many thanx again and keep em coming!
